This syllabus is designed to introduce children of all ages to the joy
of singing, dancing, and acting in a fun and creative way. Musical Theatre is all about telling stories through performance, and this new training opportunity will give students the chance to build confidence, imagination, and teamwork skills while having lots of fun.
The syllabus begins from the earliest stages with a Primary level and grows step by step through the grades, ensuring that every child, whatever their age or level, can enjoy learning new skills and working together. There are also opportunities to take part in special group Musical Theatre Awards, celebrating teamwork and creativity.
For those students who simply love to perform, this syllabus is a wonderful way to make friends, grow in confidence, and enjoy the experience of musical theatre and exams in a supportive environment. For older students who may one day wish to take further training opportunities, the syllabus structure and exams provide a clear pathway right through to the higher grades.

With a flexible structure that allows for complete autonomy in class creation, it is designed to inspire and engage students as they explore song, text, and movement from a wide range of musical theatre works.
The focus of the training for the younger students is on building confidence to explore a range of characters and musical theatre works in a fun and creative way. The examination structure has been designed to offer an inclusive and enjoyable way to showcase work that has been developed in classes. Offering both solo and group performance awards, students can explore their creativity through practical exploration and in developing their own curiosity through a series of creative projects. These exams are not just assessments, but celebrations of creativity, giving the students the chance to express themselves as individuals and as part of a team.
